| quote "Strategic Partnership Against Microsoft Illegal Spam": |
| 10 Complaints (of OVER 750 to be Released) From ANGRY Individuals That Have Received UNSOLICITED ILLEGAL SPAM FROM MICROSOFT
All Quotes Posted to Archives of Newsgroup: news.admin.net-abuse.email 1- "More and more, it seems that Microsoft has harvested addresses in its database. They spammed me, and I also never gave them my address. " - Trebor 2- "I got a completely unsolicited SPAM from microsoft, pitching its new Office for the Mac. I have never signed up for any Microsoft opt-in list, and I have never used my email address when registering a Microsoft product" - Charles Eicher 4- "Does anyone know what the deal is with all this stuff from Microsoft? I get at least 20 150K messages with attachments a day. I can filter them, but this is a huge waste of net resources." - Van Jacques 5- "I recently received a spam from Microsoft, despite my every effort to avoid their system. I own no MS products, I have never given them my email address, nor consented to be put on their marketing mailing lists. Headers clearly indicate the spam as originating from a Microsoft server." - Charles Eicher 6- "I just got a spam advertising Microsoft bCentral that was apparently sent through a domain calling itself customer-email.com (located in Seattle). The spam had a number of links that point to http://redir.cq0.net/r/default.asp?R=000006786000e31bf which simply performs a redirect to http://www.bcentral.com which is a Microsoft domain." - Bruce Pennypacker 7- "The headers indicate that it actually came from Microsoft. This is absolutely believable given their lengthy and well-documented history of spamming." - Bill Cole 8- "I'm talking about Microsoft spamming Mac users, and the big question is, how did they acquire these email addresses?" - Charles Eicher 9- "I never get any mail from microsoft as I always click their "never email me" boxes on anything I fill in of theirs. But today they decide to spam me twice, including this one to a slightly faulty email address, how they got that address I will never know." - Steve Peake 10- "I got 3 copies of the same Spam (in an attached word document) from MS Israel. I called them up, they admitted they sent the Spam, refused to acknowledge that Spam is bad" - Shoshannah Forbes

- Ik heb nog nooit spam mogen ontvangen van Microsoft zelf;
